Beautiful watch! Nice and simple and easy to read.Is it quartz or mechanical? Don't believe I've seen one like that before.

Hi Ray,

it's a quartz watch, the 2nd type of quartz chrono used by the RAF (I also have the 1st type), here are the MOD markings on the caseback..........

The upper two rows show the NSN code, the lower numbers show the issue number (0006) and the year of issue (96).

cheers, John

That is a truly beautiful watch.

If I may ask. How much are you looking to get for it?

Ok, good luck with the sale. I was going to make an offer but that's too much for me.  :P

I'm sure someone will jump at it for that.  It's is a beauty and well worth the money!
