A blade with cheese holes  A weight saving feature or just for style points.

Those holes were incorporated as a weight-saving measure on the Style with professional athletes in mind.  The holes reduced my 100 meter sprints from 53.288 seconds (Style without holes) to 53.286 seconds (Style with holes).  So it is definitely worth it for those of us who compete at the world-class level.

Tim Leatherman is currently working with a group of engineers to make the holes large enough to cut another 43.707 seconds off of my personal best, so I can compete for the world record in Rio this August.  The current world record is 9.58 seconds (Usain Bolt, wind aided +0.9).

Even with the bigger holes beating Bolt's record will be a challenge due to the low altitude Rio sits on. But you cannot discount the noodle power factor. I will be cheering for you

Today, while my grandparents worked in the garden. While they were doing that, I was assigned to weedeating duty all around the house.    2013 Soldier '08, PST II, and Bear MGC Gardener were carried plus an Alexander USA No. 1 Philips/Magnet pocket screwdriver.     Stihl FS-46 weedeater also counts--is no longer made by Stihl.

After lunch, I was assigned to pressure wash the Kubota RTV-900, and both tractors.  For that, I thinned down to the PST II and my Schrade 34OT.  I still carried the pocket screwdriver too.  I think this particular pocket screwdriver is the only one with a good pocket clip that I've carried.

Day 30: Casio GW9300 and Victorinox Outdoorsman (Marlboro version). Outdoorsman has a nice combination of tools, but if it had pliers instead of the fish scaler, then it would really be perfect. Only one day left!
May it be as the Pattern has chosen.

End of the week, (worked the three day weekend) had my Trailmaster.  And as it is the standard for my blacksmithing projects, over the weekend (well Saturday and some Sunday) I made a pocket dangled and money clip.

I too will one day hopefully have a Stihl weedeater as well Cody :salute: I can never get one to last more than a year or 2 now ::) :D

I guess throwing one through the yard isn't a well proven mechanic trick when they won't start either
