Great club to be in!  I'm a two-time member myself!

At work so no pics but I have my SAKMC PX and now the new MT.O Edition!

The PX is my favorite Alox SAK.

The Soldier and Cadet are my other favorite Alox SAKs.

I did not know we had a PX club... I can join, but not with a MTO red, a simple Silver one...

I hear ya, El C.

I've noticed that what I do is to use my left thumb nail to lift the scissors, and my right index finger to finish deploying them. I think that's what I do.

Anyway, give the 30-day PX challenge a shot (yes, you can do it) and you'll see that the nail nick issues seems to dissolve like the head on a nice brew.

Yup, ran into the scissors nail nick "problem" this morning too. To an old codger like me (after all I'm way past my first half century ), this is going to take some time getting used to  :D

Edit: cursory comparison between a PX and my SwissChamp reveals striking similarities between their respective scissors, with the notable exception of the position of the nail nick. Assuming that the rest (tang profile?) is identical between the two, I can see some mods on the horizon... (no, not of the red beauty, of course  >:D).

They are exactly the same, except for nail nick position and pivot hole sizes...

Will share side by side pics of just the scissors later...

Here is the 93mm scissor stacked on top of the 91mm scissor...

I haven’t exactly checked for measurements, but the Swisstool X scissors are the same as the above ones too... Maybe others can confirm this...

Thanks jaya_man :tu:
My keen sense for comparison tells me you're right (but actually having access to the stacked picture would help :D) - the 93 and 91 mm scissors are identical except for the nail nick location and pivot hole size. Interesting :think:
Cheers!

You think, lol.. we ordered a radiator last week cause our one room just won’t get warm, of course it comes in today, the hottest day of the year(54°F) yet it’s going to drop into the teens in this weekend.. although, Monrogue, my radiators black and I think that red pioneerX would better on it rather then a silver one, which would match your radiator
