This may sound insane, but I got a Pioneer X probably 2 months ago and literally have not carried it once. 

what has it not been able to replace?

Most people carry a classic or a manager or a micra anyway, thus they do not need extra scissors..

Just for you dks, here's my hastily modded Victorinox Pioneer X with scissors removed, Wenger SI scale and hollow rivet added:

well, Pioneer X is the model with scissors, the X meaning that it is not suitable for minors, so, maybe, if you take out the scissors you can just call it "Pioneer"

That is a stupid name - it will never sell with a name like that. Come on dks, up your game or this ship is sunk before it sets sail.

How about a name made up of one of the 4 languages of Switzerland?:

Italian: coltello da tasca sette funzione

French: couteau de poche de sept fonction

German: sieben Funktionstaschenmesser

I'm not sure - I've only ever seen plain silver. We could make enquiries with some of our forum modificationers. I have some nice paints here in the U-Boat. Mostly grey but I'm sure there was some red and blue as well.

While we are talking business ideas dks, I have made a great new discovery. If you use a common house hold eraser to rub out the celidor scales on your tired looking SAK they go see-through and voila! A futuristic 'Space Knife':
