Ok, I was wrong. No way they're trying to hide them and missed this.
I think this is a Kick, since the plier end does not have contured handles for the screws.

Special - Lair of Giants

This episode aired as the Season 4 finale, though it does not really conform to the standard Specials. Those are usually compilations (Most Deadly, Most Bizarre etc), with Jeremy providing additional information. This episode documents Jeremy's expedition to Guyana, and the river Essequibo, South America's third largest and largely unconquered river.

This episode features the OG Wave, and it begs the question why. Was it filmed very early in the show's life, and simply shown out of order? Does the old Wave belong to Jeremy or possibly one of his guides? Is the episode in chronological order and he just chose to take his old Wave with him?

Whatever the reason for the old Wave, the episode is great. Double the length of a usual episode, deep in the jungle. Beautiful scenery, great atmosphere, and exciting moments.

Preparing bait.
Curiously used by a guide, so it might be his.

Jeremy and a guide have sheaths attached to their belts.
Maybe Jeremy has a Charge, and the guide had the OG Wave.

The lake was so remote and untouched, and Jeremy being a biologist, he took a scale off the arapaima to have it tested. What a wonderful use for the Wave.

Some interesting encounters.

A monkey petroglyph. Undated. Sitting there, by the water.

A pink pacu.

An anaconda.

A tarantula.

Shooing a caiman away.  8)

What a great episode this was.

looks to me like they had one each as well.  that's definitely not an OG Wave sheath Jeremy is wearing.  good work mate.  :tu:

Thanks.  :)
I would say that the guide's sheath is an old leather one for the OG Wave, those brown ones, but I can't be sure, and it may be wishful thinking. Still, there's the tool in the episode, and they both had something on them.

They released a compilation Special, so the proper second episode will probably be shown next week.

supercool that you're catchin all these.
That knife is a legend in my country, it is a Spanish made "Marto Explora",  ::)  long discontinued but regularly carried by military and outdoorsmen alike, it was one of the gems of the 80s in Spanish cutlery  :tu:
