He's doing it once but doing it properly
If you die, can I have your SAKs?Seriously, hoping it doesn't turn out to be serious.
Yes... that happens. To many of us - if not already it will happen earlier or later. I hope you will recover soon and without damage - does the foot almost feel good or is it still numb?Have a beverage or five and it will heal at its own (as we use to say here).

You should know better by now how to handle knives! And posting a new thread about it! Geez! You sound like a Bulgarian girl!
Just post pictures from your colection, again, saying that it's new toys. We do not remember them, anyway.
While changing the bandage, I measured it. the wound is 1/2 inch across and measuring the Wenger blade, it reaches that width at the nail nick, 1 inch from the tip. Surely there's no way it went in an inch.... I tried to take another pic but every angle I tried looked like a sext from Carlos Danger.....

Wearing sturdy shoes would offer some protection for your feet, while handling knives or tools.

Ouch! Go get a tetanus shot if you haven't had one in awhile. Puncture wounds are bad as it gets the bacteria/contaminant that can be on the blade deep inside. Err on the side of caution. I feel your pain about nerve damage. My worst work accident with knives gave me a 2 inch gash along my left index finger and I still have no feeling in part of it.Play safe!
how did you get it to stop bleeding?
If it's been 25 years since you had a tetanus shot you really should haul yourself in and get one. If you think you cut a nerve you should probably get checked out anyway. If you do see Karl Elsener again please tell him I said Hi, and also, thanks for the cool knives.

A small linen bag and dental floss can be carried in a small EDC bag with multiple applications. The bloody bag or towel can be washed afterwards, or be discarded.
