Did a little scouting mission to a location I might be having a "camping" trip of sorts...

Only a few photos, only had the phone with me...

Beginning the climb, it's about 2km in all, some of it quite steep:


About half way:


At the top of Kirppuvuori (literally Flea Mountain :D ), alas the top of the hill has been logged clean. The view isn't too bad though, lake Keitele in the background:


On the way back down, I came up from the left road, going down on the right one (very steep, hence no photos):


Another lakeview, lake Suojärvi (smallish, about 1km long):



That was quite nice little scouting trip, now I just have to plan for a full on excursion with all the gear and proper camera...  :cheers:

Edit to add that since there is some much discarded twigs and branches on the hilltop, I doubt I need to carry any for my wood burning stove :D
