Got a question about your decision to get a Garberg. Did you consider other knives or was it love at first sight? Since you got that Skrama it has me wondering because a lot of people are touting the Jakkaripukkoo (hope I spelled that right) as a direct contender to the Garberg

It was pretty much love at first sight, and the same with the Skrama... Jääkäripuukko is just another Finnish puukko, a good one, but nothing special there to appeal to me.

My interests often go after the unusual items, I guess I have the need to be different :D

Edit: I do also have one of these, Taiter Hukari

Couldn't find it for a pic, hence the loaned pic from the maker (will look for mine soon)

Well, puukkos are everywhere in Finland, but don't get me wrong, Jääkäripuukkos are excellent knives, just not special enough for me :)

Don't worry, I get it. Most look similar, work almost the same and only real difference is materials and build. But then again a team that keeps winning doesn't get changed much

Might as well post this here too, for the posterity...  >:D

"I must not follow MTO.
 MTO is the wallet-killer.
MTO is the death of my bank account that brings total bankcruptcy.
 I will face the MTO.
I will permit it to pass over me and through me (twice, as that's the MTO way).
And when  has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
Where MTO has gone there will be no money left. Only I will remain, poor."

The dark season is coming, which means I need to be seen while I bike to work.

So... I installed a few reflectors on the E-bike...  ;)

A Cateye front reflector on the basket, held on by a screw:

Couple of Busch & Muller red rear reflectors, zip tie installation:

And four Busch & Muller spoke reflectors (those were just click in types):

If you ride in the dark, make sure you will be seen too!

Ride safe, ride smart, have fun!

Well, dark season begins a bit before winter, around half way into the October both morning and afternoon commute will be in the dark...

In the actual winter it won't even be that bad as the snow lights things up, but rainy fall is the worst, wet asphalt just eats up all the light, hence you need all the things you can have to make sure you'll be seen.

Ride safe, ride smart, have fun!

Probably next month I will buy the winter tires for the E-bike...

Schwalbe Ice Spiker Pro Performance:

400+ studs on each tire...

I've been using these for years, and they are extremely grippy on ice, on snow and decent on bare asphalt (except of the noise they make on it)

As far as I know, these are the BEST winter tires in existence :tu:

Forgot to mention these will be in 29" size, as the ones I've had before have been 26"

The 26" Ice Spikers have 361 studs per tire :tu:

I'll let you all in on a secret...

In many CRPGs, I play a female character if possible

Mostly because if I'm going to stare someone's arse for hours on end, it better be a female one

Not the entire truth, but that's what I'm going with right now
