The James Brand

I have to start that I do not own one of these knives, but every time I see them I want one  :D . I appreciate the simplicity and overall clean and modern design with these pocket knives.

If my name was James on the other hand, I'd be all over it. Anyone have any experience with these they want to tease with?

From the steel they use I would assume that they are made in Europe. I did not watch their video. Their prices seem to be about 2 or 3 times more expensive than they should be.

EKA, MANLY etc. make similar knives, for less.

I have now watched the video and it very much reminds me of this parody. :D

Gentle mockery aside, these are good looking knives IMO.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

I agree on the price. It's almost priced high for the sake of being expensive, but they do use good materials all around.

I looked into the eka and manly. They just don't quite make that same level of fit and finish comparison imo, but they are cheaper, so  :-\

Hipster knives, great idea.

They use premium materials and they look really well made so probably worth the $275+ cost of the frame lock.
Semi custom slip joints also worth $150;

Not as hip as an Carbone Opinel No 8 but I want a James TV shirt.
