Round two was in the pine forest. It was a warm day. Clock was ticking.

Found a nice soft bit of dirt for my sore knee.

I paced it out better. Still managed to break the paracord again. And wear through another spindle.

However this time it was three holes to get the ember.

I put the fire out and headed back home.

Well done!

Friction fire was my life's mission for 2014, and I failed......still working up to another effort. :facepalm:
