Had a giggle thanks to my FinnWolf last weekend, we were in day 2 of the most epic 3-day blank of my fishing career, buddy needs to cut some heavy braid and borrows my knife.......prepares to saw through the braid, and where the blade touched the braid just parted.
The look on his face when he handed the knife back was classic!

Taiwan for the most part, or are you meaning which factory in Taiwan? Probably a few.

Some older and or higher end models are made in Japan (check by steel type, VG-1 san mai) and they even make one or two in China and South Africa (machetes).

...and India! Same OEM as Windlass Steelcrafts, they get their 1917 Bowie, swords, cutlasses and most of the bigger weapons made there by artisans and craftsmen (MAA Series of blades).
The 4 MAX is their first model made in the US (2016) and now in Italy (2017)
