How useful is that little Rajah for EDC?

For urban edc not very.
Out in the bush is more suited to it.
It's a different style of knife than what I grew up using but that's okay.

Other than breaking the tip off it early on it's been a good fun knife.
Would really like to try the larger raj but the cost puts it out of my reach.

Whoa boy, there are many answers to that. I'd say:

the 5 to know and try out the company:

- Voyager series

- Hold Out series
- Rajah series

the 5 current production I'd take with me

- Clip Point XL Voyager
- Ti Lite 6 G10
- Rajah II
- Hold Out I
- Broken Skull

the 5 all-time favorites, including discontinued ones

- Rajah I
- X2 Voyager
- Rawles Tanto
- Vaquero Grande
- Hold Out I

My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

Thanks. The more I have on that piece of paper as I enter the shop the better. Did a similar thing with Spyderco. Since I liked so many of their models on paper it was a good idea to try them out in hand and some of the most popular models are just not for me (Delica, Manix) due to ergos that don't really fit me

Well, there are indeed some folders with peculiar handle shapes and very unique ergonomics, but among the Cold Steel ones I could tell you that there are 5 highly praised for their ergonomic handles and comfort in hand by most folks and most of hand sizes and shapes:

- Recon 1
- Voyager
- Ti-Lite
- Hold Out
- Counter Point

On the other hand, these 5 often present problems or discomfort to people:

- AK47 (too blocky and long)
- Broken Skull (too thin)
- American Lawman (finger grooves do not fit hand properly)
- Talwar (too long and contoured)
- Code 4 (too slippery, not grippy)

In my experience one of the first 5 will fit all hands nicely and can be easily adjusted for proper grip, while the 5 others might cause hot spots or just result uncomfortable in some grips and to some hand sizes.
Here I am for any further questions you might have, mate   :salute:

I love my Talwar Large and XL grips and handle shapes, they are like custom made to me

I've gotta say I haven't heard much praise about the Ti-Lite's ergonomics. I've got one (a 4" Zytel) and I really like it, but there seems to have been zero concession made to ergos. The "Italian stiletto" shape isn't particularly conducive to comfort and the sharp quillons don't help much either. Let's agree to disagree on this one.
I was impressed with the ergos of the Tri-Ad Recon 1 when I handled it. I'll probably want to pick one up at some point (especially after the steel upgrade) but there are other knives and tools I want more for the same money.

Recon 1 is the only one I've tried before and I gotta say it does have nice ergos

Well out of the ones I did get to try I gotta say that Rajah 2 and 3 really impressed me. Recon 1 is OK but when I handled it a bit more the grooves didn't sit terrific (OK i'm being a bit whiny with this complaint). Voyager fit ok but wasn't all that impressive, like something was lacking. The large Espada was really nice too

It is a tad bigger but I suspect that it can also slice bacon a lot easier too (longer stroke)
