Cold Steel announced new steel to substitute CTS-XHP in all their models...Never had a folder in S35VN, and I've been very happy with my CTS-XHPs, what do you guys think of this?

hopefully it's for the better

when it first was showing up a lot of people had issues with edges rolling and dulling extremely fast, though to be fair it was also replacing s30v
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

As someone who doesn’t use the knife much I don’t very care the steel type.
As someone who doesn’t sharpen knives very well I actually prefer low end softer steels.
I always think high end super steels are like hi-Cap magazines, last long time but takes forever to load. With a few passes on rod, low end steel is good to go, like striped clips.

looks good to me, and AFAIK there are no Talwar clones. I've seen Recon clones, Rajah clones and Voyager copies but not a single one of this model   :salute:

Don't mind their marketing, love their products, but "dear friend Lynn" is another matter.......

I'm not anti-hunting, I can even support trophy hunting up to a point.

If you've notched up the Big 5 on your kill list I think you are scum, especially considering the Rhino is one of those 5.....

This is a SA/Namibia thing, but I wish a pox and a slow horrible death on anybody that kills a Rhino or snorts its body parts  >:( >:( >:( >:(

Thanks! And also for answering my PM

I decided not to get the Talwar 4" as its blade is shorter than my Resilience BUT I have resolved to someday own a 5.5 Talwar like what you have  :like:
