Solar Knife

    Who knew? There is such a thing called a Solar Knife - I did a random search for sheeps & giggles. 

    Looks like a slice of a parabolic mirror on one scale


    So, if you are looking for a gift to a knife collector chances are they don't have this one!

    Why doesn't some individual(s) that have the ability to craft such an item, make a strip of a parabolic shape to make a fire starter that is elongated piece or folds up in a long rectangular piece hinged at the middle? Then sell that to survival nuts?

    Have seen parabolic mirrors that were used as tinder or cigarette lighters, though that's more round taking up more space than what a long rectangular piece would.
