Yup, cause it's the 10 knockoff version of it being made in the last 5 years. ::)

I've had this design drawn up for over a year and was able to finally put into the works. Enki_ck I don't understand why your calling my design a knockoff. This is my design and if there are others out thier which I am sure thier are I can assure you they are way different. Much like the knife industry the blade can only take so many shapes. Heck most tools out there look similar  kinda like hammers and screwdrivers.

Cause the original guitar wrench one piece tool was made 5 years ago, not just over a year ago. :salute:

http://www.jsburlys.com/i...amp;ref=titaniumedcguitar

and if you say your's has a bit driver and bit, well that was also made 2 years ago. Yours looks quite "inspired" by the one TAP made. ;)

And there were others after that too.

Lmfao ok I do see some similarities  but it doesn't change the fact that I made from my own design up until today I've never seen these other designs. And the guys who made the tools above got thier inspiration from guitar.  Get over yourselves

Well if everyone in this forum  speaks to new members like this then yes you are all idiots. Seems to me like you guys have wayyyy  too much time on your hands to troll others.

All these fine people have said is that your tool has common similarities to previously concocted one piece tools. They are not idiots  in any way, they just so happen to be the most outgoing and generous groups of people out there. And no, we usually don't treat new members like this.

Do you like people knocking on your door or emailing you trying to sell you things?  Most of us don't either.  It's considered rude.  We do let people sell here if they follow the rules though, and when that works its a win-win for both parties.

Strike 1 - Your first post was to try to sell something
Strike 2 - You failed to read the sticky in the forum you spammed kindly pointing you to the guidelines on how to advertise and sell on the forum
Strike 3 - You failed to take criticism with grace.  A response of "Wow that is similar to mine, but I hadnt seen that before" would have been appropriate.  Followed by a "Oh sorry guy's I didnt realize I had to have an R&D or crowd funding membership to sell".

The result is now you just associated the title of your product with a thread showing you not behaving in a customer friendly manor.  This will now show up forever if people search for your product.

One piece tools have flooded the market over the last few years as everyone with a computer figured out you can make up a CAD file and have it waterjet and have a 'product' ready to market with very little knowledge or understanding of what it takes to compete is a super saturated marketplace.  That means what you have to offer has to be something completely new or original or it will get passed over pretty quick.

MTO isn't some fly by night forum either. These fellas know more about tools than any database on this great Earth. So trying to pass the cheese by these fellas will get scrutinized with decades of expertise. They are also the most helpful group of people I have ever met.

Edit: Now if you had made a one-piece resembling a didgeridoo, a few of us might of been impressed. :drink:

Hes still trying to sell on the anything and everything EDC group on facebook with no takers...  IM sure everyone is wrong and just dont understand how awesome it is.   A good rule is to have a market before making the product, but whatever.

I forgot to mention that he needed a carbide insert for the bump at the end to actually be a window breaker.  Also why 304 stainless?  It cant be heat treated.  Thats a work harden only type steel good for making cutlery or sinks from. *sigh*

What a jerk, coming in and trying to make us all look like a bunch of morons, and when anyone brought up anything to do with the tools similarities to others, he went and tried to make us all feel like a bunch of jerks. If you ask me, he was just trying to be a keyboard warrior ;)
