Dear all, I sell quite a lot of the custom scaled SAKs that I do, and I would love to have the option to have one thread where I could post everything I do for sale, where I would edit the first post in the thread according to my desires. Would such a thing be doable?

Not unless you were granted MOD, Admin, or other special privileges, no. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

Send a bag of rescaled saks to Grant and bribe him into making you a mod  :D

I don't have any desires for power, only the ability to edit my own posts :)

I think, if you become a paid seller/supporter, or something similar, you may be able to edit your sale threads.  As mentioned, you need to contact the Mods (where are they   ???  )

In the olden days, members could edit their posts, but this caused some issues with continuity and some other problems, with people being naughty...

If you are selling so much here, perhaps you may wish to contribute some time to the forum before asking for special treatment.

Otherwise people might get the wrong idea about dealing with you, or the administrators might start paying attention to just how much free business you have done here over the years.

Just a suggestion mind you.....

If you give me a way to pay for a craftsman membership/badge, and the ability to edit my posts, I'll gladly pay a monthly fee to the forum

Besides, if you look at my posts, you can see I have contributed much more than sales posts... Maybe 10% of things I make or receive are sold on MTO, it's always other places. But if you do wish to say that I should stop making sales posts here, I can do that for admins' and mods' peace of mind

This has been available for years.  So has this

Just sayin...

If 10% of your sales for the last three years are so unimportant to you that this forum isn't worth supporting the way it has supported you, then I suppose the next move is yours.  But by all means, feel free to keep being indignant about how I have always turned a blind eye (and told the Mods to do the same) to the amount you were selling instead of just appreciating it.

You're welcome.
