OG Wave sheath rip off.

As if the huge price increase and drop in quality of their tools wasn't enough now they are trying to sell the OG Wave sheath for $20.00. It used to be $6.00 or $8.00 on their website very recently. Why do they feel the need to double/triple the price. Are they hurting for cash that bad? Running out of stock and wan't to get all they can?

These are old stock sheaths. They are not making these new. If they just bump the price up 3X because of this than that's a poor excuse.

That's quite a bit of a price hike, indeed.

Yes those can't even hold a candle to the early OG Wave thick dark-brown leather sheaths with copper and brass snap buttons.

EDC and OCD. A wicked mix.

That's what I would say. There are quite a few criticism about inferior quality of the standalone sheath. Price goes up while quality goes down? This is clearly a lack of integrity on Leatherman side on this one.

Are these sheaths even US made?

Quality of those sheaths has gone down drastically over the last few years. That's why I started making my own sheaths.

I don't care for the look of the newer OG Wave sheath anyways, so to jump the price any makes me run in the other direction from it :ahhh

Not to detract from the lameness that is Leatherman for profiteering but where would one go to get a Gohard sheath?
