The awl on that first one is outrageous :o

A little too pointo IMO...I usually use my awls for hard stuff..something that thin might break.

Cool tools though, I love seeing stuff from around the world.

I like the second one with the clever knife handles. I wonder how many tools you could get into one of those without it being too bulky - and if you could learn to operate it one handed

I like the first one a lot. i kinda like the Mutt Dog look of it. Very rustic, and you would not care about abusing it.

hi  , actualy nither are from either noks,,  or saro.
one is an old soviet   pocket tool, for  drinkers.. and the other is a  multitool made by a small russian firm making survival machetes and  survival knives...

the awl is rather large... plier heads seem to come from actual pliers

The noks biker is an odd ball design that's for sure. Best thing that can be said about it is how extremely thin it is. It takes up very little room in a back pocket. They should have made it with a pocket clip. :)

In order to be certain of having the right tool for every job.........one must first acquire a lot of tools

hahah nice  j-sews ,
a nd what did you pay for that   odd creature??

hahaha , oh my i guess a russian multitool is the multitool collectors dream... weird exsotic and bloody hard to buy..

did you have a relative buy it in russia ????

your mofle is a new version of the "biker" modle, older one had more blades and a different head on the tool,,

the NOKS "sapper" sells for about 4000 rubles which is crazy..  leatherman can be had for 1/2 or less.

the saro multitool is cheap....... it is also called biker :P .

kizlyar never even tried to make a multitool like knife. when i was working there the production capacity was  realy streched.. and no machines would have been free to even machine it..  more profitable  knives and swords were produced , less work  higher profit margin..  quicker to make..

i  am suspect with noks now though as some of his knives are made in china..  dont know about the multis though proably not..
