Pretty cool . Nice to see you got your new sharps some action as well. When I've shaved those magnesium bars I found my SAK saw or my LM saw spine works great.
Is it hard for everyone to get shavings from their magnesium bars It takes forever for me to get a small pile of them and I have had the bar for years Do I have a bad one is that been everyone elses experience as well

I hold the scraper perpendicular (slightly trailing) and pull. It like using a cabinet scraper or a razor blade to scrape a decal or paint. This produces thin springy curls that will bunch together.
