Postage prices us to uk
on:
June 18, 2016, 06:58:06 PM
Anyone know the prices as I wanted to bid on broken Mt(for parts) on eBay but seller says shipping is $32 for $10 item
I said that's ridulous others are charging $10 his reply was it's $20 flat rate and where am I getting $10 from.... I thought I read a post explaining how rip off post charges and how they don't always give all options.
Anyone help me out and tell me what the $10 option is?
Thanks

I can't speak to US Postal rates but as I understand it, they have gone up.
But, as all of us dirty foreigners have had issues with shipping from the US, there are a lot of members who are willing to recieve things and ship them on at a reasonable rate.

thanks grant
im guessing theyre same as all post offices , uk royal isnt exactly something to be proud of and seem to overcharge when they can
i looked on usps site and First-Class Package International Service is $13.50 and First-Class Mail® International Large Envelope is 8.85(but is max 3/4'' so maybe to thin for mt)
guess ebay are acting of character and being greedy

I just kinda went through this. And no matter what "cheaper" price I could find online or through the respective services website. There was always a catch and some reason why it couldn't be shipped cheaper.
If you weren't concerned with having tracking it should be able to be shipped for about $20 something. Still not cheap when you're trying to score a "deal".
Good luck. Wish I had better info.

Be careful using a courier service like UPS or FedEx when shipping internationally. They often charge a brokerage fee for bringing something through Customs. Typically for me it's anywhere between $40 and $60, which really messes with any "deal" you might get.
