Chainsaw badge request.
on: April 14, 2017, 05:34:32 PM
I was outdoors today since my neighbour told me I could have his remaining wood stockpile because he converted his stove to gas a few years ago.

I sawed some pieces of wood from my own, sawed the container to fit my own palet (do they call it like that in English too??) and transported the wood from his back yard to mine using my wheelbarrow.

It's a Dolmar chainsaw, which is a brand that has been taken over by Makita a few years ago.
They're producing both Makita and Dolmar branded chainsaws ever since.
Reason why I got it? My dad's been a retailer for the past 25 years.
This one is a no nonsense, lightweight electric chainsaw that has enough power for my need, and is extremely maneuvrable thanks to it's lightweight electric engine.

Is your chainsaw that noisy ?  I have Ryobi battery powered chainsaw and it is quite quiet compared with my petrol ones.

Also used the angle grinder for some metal parts, so while I was at it, I just kept them in.

But no, it's quite ok noicewise :D
