It's a shame the colored variants of the Farmer tend to cost so much if you miss the limited runs. I mean, a standard silver one is like $35. The color also wears off, so it doesn't feel like it's worth the markup to me.

Welcome! Now's a good time to get into alox collecting because of the wide variety of colours thats available at affordable prices now. As long as you do not lust after the old cross variants, numbered editions or small custom runs, you should be able to acquire a "rainbow" of alox saks very quickly...

Have fun  :tu:

Are you trying to get that poor chap into an addiction?  :D

It's probably more affordable than most!  LOL

Welcome bud.

Used to, but haven't lately.  Certified for Rescue, Deco, Solo, etc. but never had any interest in going the instructor route.  I still tend to use the name Diver as a user name.

Just to stay relevant:  For diving you need a cutting tool primarily to cut line you might get tangled in.  You're not going to want to mess with any sort of folder, let alone a SAK.  However, for diving above the most recreational level, you'll also want a back up device.  I used to use a small fixed blade knife with a blunt tip, and would also carry shears, and a line cutting tool similar to a seat belt cutter.  All that stuff is still packed with my SCUBA gear.
