Fire Badge Try?

here I am making a fire, used my tool to move my birds nest under my stack.

it works most times.

sorry to say I had every thing set up under the kindleing but I did use a liter to get the spark, I don't have a fire starting kit made yet.

Yeah a lighter counts as fire kit.   ;)   :)

It's all good to have several ways to start a fire but if I am gonna anywhere that I think I may need fire a lighter us definitely going with me :D

Almost every time I have tried to start a fire by more primitive means I have succeeded.  Luckily there are lots of flammable things in Canada so fire is not much more than a simple spark away.

Even so, I never go into the woods (or most places) without some matches, because let's face it, just because you can do something doesn't mean you have to.

i would like to have beer and sit around my fire pit but my nieghbor has his septic tank lid open and it stinks in my back yard :facepalm: :rant:

i am making a fire piston right now, i'll see if i can get that to work to start a fire also.
