I have a lathe in Halifax, which is absolutely no help to anyone. Does that count? Def
Not professionally or very often, but I know enough not to wreck the machine and I've still got all my fingers. What do you need to know and what are you planning?

I'm after a metal pen, I saw one but their supposedly on break, so if they don't come back soon I was wondering if anyone could make one?JR

Picture of it? Material? Other purpose than writing? There are a few brands making pen/ pencil with metal casings, so chances are, you can find a very good and stylish pen without going thru the trouble of making one (not talking about Chinese junk Cross pens here).
Looks like a fun project, but I haven't got time to do any machine work right now - and I'm going to lose access to the lathe and mill in a couple of weeks for good.
My company are shutting the office and workshop I work in and moving the machines to our Mexico site. The new factory I'm going to be working in doesn't have the same machine shop facilities.
