Yeah - Thanks BPR - I would estimate that across the US population and corporations"Built different" is used 95% of the time "Built differently" is used 5% of the time - Maybe even less!! So this is common parlance - And for the rest of the English speaking world too!Anyway, being the anal, grammatical pedant* that I am, I had to let LM know about this Here's the reply I received - Pretty promptly too - I'll say ...... I was kind of expecting no reply, (or did not deserve one) as I am clearly a * - See above ** I had let them know I was from MTo - So that was great to get such an acknowledgement of our community Otherwise a very nice polite reply, and with a kind of expected result And if I was a cynic "We have forwarded your comments to our marketing team for consideration," who will file it under B for bin. !!!!
I get triggered by grammar mistakes as well. Increasingly, we see "people that" instead of "people who", or "less people" instead of "fewer people". Or the word "whenever" is used when it should be "when". But ultimately, there is no Golden Rulebook for grammar.
