I have a second hand organizer bag made by Duluth Trading.  With solid construction and lots of pockets, it's a worker, not a talker.

Cough, purse.

Sorry???

It is a small shoulder bag, just what he asked for and an usual  type in our country

Do you think the size affects to manliness???
It is neither pink, nor cute, only of content size.

Do you consider a tactical sling bag proper for office carry?? Seriously???

Guess my joking tone does not come across well on the internet.

Big man purse fan and user so no slight intended. Just assume everyone here knows I like to bust balls.

On topic I usually carry a backpack from my Army days but have a leather sachel that Crossbreed Holsters use to make I like alot.

You should take a look at the Maxpedition Fatboy Versipack, the Vanquest Tolcat 2.0 and the Hazard 4 Kato, I hear they are great. Can't say for myself but you should check them out. All of those manufacturers also make small single strap backpacks

Well, I dont think they are too big. They are little versions of bigger ones. The Kato barely fits a small notebook pc. And the fat boy is tiny compared to the Jumbo. But you're the one who's using it so if those are too big for you, there are smaller ones like the Maxpedition Thermite, or you could use a EDC organizer and attach straps to it as well.

Also there are smallish sling bags by Maxpdt like the Remora, the Lunada and the Noatak (this one is on the bigger side of things)

The Remora is tiny. I'd say it fits just about anyone's definition of a small bag.

I tried the Lunada for awhile but found it just too small. I like to be able to haul my laptop.

Then maxpedition thermite, or EDC organizes are for you. Just attach a strap to them and you have yourself a tiny (quite tiny to be fair) shoulder bag. Or just use the dreaded fanny pack slung over your shoulder. I assume you just want to carry your phone, wallet etc?

Many packs here scream:

"I am tactical, please search me for knives , weapons or explosives"....

In the city I prefer a low profile. Grey man.
And more with the terrorism alert in many countries.

This is definitely a factor in some locations. To put in my 2 cents, I've never been accosted or searched while carrying my Lunada. The one time I was questioned by a police officer about it, he wanted to know where I got my duck patch  :D

Quack quack.  :D

I have a regular kind of shoulder bag, and being just the right width, but several inches too short, to carry a 10.1" tablet in a centre pocket, its definitely small-medium sized.  :pok:
It is thick when full though!  8)
Bigger on the inside, it feels like sometimes.

And if I need more space, I have a shopping bag inside. Bag in a bag!  :ahhh
