Awesome news! I use the mobile version of the site all the time, since Tapatalk got rid of the paid version of their app (I would much rather pay for an app than see advertisements) and started making you sign up for their account. IMO the existing version was already good, so the new site must be amazing. I work in the web development space, I know that stuff isn't easy, so thank you in advance for all the hard work! :salute:

Also, thanks to Leatherman for their generosity! I already have a tan OHT, so I'll sit out the giveaway. It's a nice model, I'm sure it will serve well whoever wins it.

True, posting pics is easy in Tapatalk, but it seems to slightly reduce the quality or sharpness/detail of my pics.  They look better when I view them in my gallery.

If you have an Android, try using AVG Image Shrinker.  It's what I use.  I'll use it to shrink the photo, then I upload it to Dropbox and attach it to the forum from there.

If you have an iPhone I can't help you because I know nothing about them.  :D

I just change the size in settings on my camera before I take MT pics, that way they save smaller and upload quicker, I upload them in the Photobucket app and then can go to either the website on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop to get the link code for it to put on the forum :cheers:

That's another good way to do it.  For non detailed photos (like the bottle opener challenge ones) I just take the photo at minimum resolution on my phone (2.1 megapixels, 1920x1080) and attach them directly to the post since they are small enough files already.  That might be the easiest way.

I just change the size in settings on my camera before I take MT pics, that way they save smaller and upload quicker, I upload them in the Photobucket app and then can go to either the website on a phone, tablet, laptop or desktop to get the link code for it to put on the forum :cheers:
I used to use Photobucket, but it didn't always want to cooperate.  Once I discovered doing it through Tapatalk, I stopped.  Plus it was a bit inconvenient to have to upload pics whenever I took them, and having to access a separate site to post them.  It may work better now that I'm in my own home with better internet.
