Thanks.It was one of my first Saks that I bought.(eBay here in Brisbane). Don't know any history of it but it came in a Leather pouch that showed it had been carried a bit. The knife is in pretty good condition though. :cheers:

Thanks Twilite, SIERRA CLUB is very popular 'round here (Both for and against) . I just checked the website and crazy enough the map on the site has my town smack dab in middle with what looks like a couple chapters local ( Visalia )  8)

funny the love/hate for said club locally.....its what caught my eye when i seen it online, remembering seeing all the bumper stickers about it all over central valley.

Tinker Small (ca early '80s) with inlaid logo for heavy equipment  maker Caterpillar or CAT as its colloquially  known by most (including myself).  Truck is from Shinsei and from their Mini Power line, and is about the same age as the Tinker.  Both the truck and knife are favorites of mine in their respective collections. I've unintentionally got a bunch of advertising SAKs in used lots, but I only intentionally buy one's with heavy equipment, railroad, agriculture automotive, or defense related advertising, or any advertising appeals to me.

Of note is that the CAT logo replaces the Swiss Cross and the Cross is not on the back scale like  on many SAKs with ads.

Box, insert, and papers.  It still has the factory oil on the blades.   I paid only $15 for it last year.  It's the only   SAK I have that I won't carry or use as I'm sure there aren't very many out there that are still new. Since I got this, I haven't seen another in any condition.
