Recently Megan had a day off.  She suggested going to a park and cooking some burgers.
Grant not hearing her too well said all too eloquently, "what?" . 
Megan screamed, "Meat, park, Gatineau!" 
Grant excitedly replied. "Great!"

After a nice day in the park they started home, Grant looked over at Megan and said, "Babe, this has been really nice, but when are we meeting Mark Gastineau?"

This is a joke from the future when Grant is an old, old man, but still fanatical about his favourite sport, ice hokey (as well as multitools of course)

The match is the final one of the season, against his team's greatest rivals, and will decide the Championship.
The tickets have been sold out for ages.
A bloke sitting next but one to Grant notices that there is an empty seat next to Grant, with a bag on it.
"Is anyone joining you today?", he asks Grant, "The match is about to start, they had better hurry up".
"No-one is joining me today" Grant replied, "This was my wife's seat, we were both great fans of the team, and always had these seats, but sadly she passed away".

I should also add that this comes at the perfect time.  my LED Lenser P2 vanished after I looked at something under the hood of the car on Friday.
