Victorinox Battle Series

These are probably some of the nicest looking SAKs. Each knife in the series have a certificate that matches the serial number located under the corkscrew/Phillips driver. There are 9999 knives of each that were produced. The Battle Series commemorates famous battles/events in Swiss history. These come in either an individual presentation box, or as a complete set. There are 7 knives in total in the Battle series. It took me some effort to complete the set, but having these is well worth it for their striking beauty.
Enough of that. Time for some photos.

It is a fantastic set (congratulations!). I owned a set a good number of years ago, but ended up selling it.

I have completed the set a few years ago. Just posting some photos and a bit of history. They deserve to be mentioned on occasion.

Thank you. I really like the details on the metal inlays of the scales with this series.

I never considered purchasing a knife for a display piece, but that would make a great collection to hang some place.

^^ No kidding. Encyclopedia entries are dry. I like the stories that inform you of the how and why things happened. That is where the juicy story is. That is the stuff we can relate to.

Dan, if you don't mind, I'd like to use these pics to replace the broken ones on the wiki pages. Just noticed most of the ones we have are now dead.
