Pikachu are white meat, with a texture and flavor similar to pork. Bulbasaur are red meat, kind of a cross between beef and venison. The bones are dog-safe as well. :tu:

And no, I have no idea what a Bulbasaur is. I had to look up Pokemon to find another one for this post......

Call me morbid, but I hope someone dies.

Better yet, I hope their family tries to take legal action against Pokemon Go, or something equally inane.

"their phone made them do it"

I like pokemon as much as the next person, but....well if the pictures online are anything to go by, this is more about vanity "look what I did, look where I did it, like my tweets, instagrams, tumblr, pay attention to me", than it is about enjoying the pokemon mythos.

So I'm not too worried if anyone walks off a bridge trying to catch a Gyrados.

a couple of hours ago I had to yank back a kid because he would have run into traffic. and the thanks i got for not letting him get splattered (ok, i really didn't want to bother with police reports of the accidents and wanted to get to the gym) was him bitching about missing out on a drowzee

Did you tell him how lucky he was that he didn't get a Toyotee or a Hondee up his arsee?

Def

nah, just asked him if he'd rather get hit with a sky uppercut or a seismic toss (actual attacks in the Pokemon universe)

I'm pretty much on this page. I like video games, not freemium mobile shovelware and vanity "games."
I'm also not a big fan of newer social media, so anything that's big with the Facebook/Twitter crowd is unlikely to pique my interest.

Who's starting the Team MTO for this crazy craze?

Yes, I downloaded the thing to see what it was. Have to admit, for normalized people it's a chance to get out and get some exercise, go for a walk, or a few drive-by clickies. It's dangerous in where the random appearance of pokemon appear, and I can see there's going to be accidents in the feeble-minded drivers. Have been seeing people drive or bicycle through by Panda Express and Jolts and Juice, a few motels and other odd places to get a free spin on goodies that you have to tap on.

Was at Jolts and Juice and noticed you can spin the wheel thing every few minutes to get free-bees. Was eating a Panda Express meal cause was too late to fix anything for dinner and feet were hurting.

It's more of a casual scavenger hunt, and you flick virtual balls to grab pokemon critters. As I was driving into the area where I live some Graveler critter lept out at my virtual player's (Xelk0s) playfield. I don't have the camera enabled, so can capture things in relative proximity. Took a few balls to get this sucker though! Once the capture started I drove into the driveway, where I commenced the ritual of capturing the bugger. Took about five minutes, it kept evading or bopping the balls off its body.

It's different. I still don't get the whole thing. A Walmart friend had to show me how to capture the first critter, a Bulbasaur. Been getting Rattatas and Pidgey things, and some other thing. Traded them in for candy? I been having fun with people today regarding the pokemon stuff. You'd be surprised at how it has livened up the attitudes of the Walmart employees playing it. Those that were bored out of their gourd are laughing and smiling.
Some 17 y/o associate caught some electrical version of a Pichachu today, was the talk of the town so to speak. I caught an Abra ... looks cool, thought was a picachu... prolly not. Half way to level 5 :P

Grr. used nearly, if not more, than 30 pokeballs to nab a Charmander as I was getting ready for bed. Was using the spin ball tactic and it would evade, throw it aside, and break out of the capturing state. Annoying thing to capture but I got it! 28 pokeballs left. :(

And found this online, for yas...

I'm glad someone is having fun with it!

I didn't understand the Pokemon phase the first time around, I doubt I'll be getting into it now.

I don't play phone games in general but this one is rather fun. There are a lot of pokemons on campus, 7ish gyms, and tons of pokestops to gather items.

If we didn't judge you for having all those fish you are "just friends with" I doubt we are going to get upset with you for playing a phone game!  :P

Seriously, if someone wants to play a game, play the game.  And if someone tries to take your Man Card away, let them, because a real man doesn't need a card anyway! :P

You're lucky. We barely have any shops, there's 3 in a mile drive and I sit there till I'm bored or it gets too hot. Bad enough having to buy some pokeballs just to nab pikachu that was staring at me next to my car for 20 minutes. I kept spinning the one spot's wheel and use them trying to capture that agile yellow squirrel, and it kept evading the pokeballs.

Supposed to be some spots in parks with pokespots. It's sunny now, knowing why people make certain loops in the parking lots, stop in areas that look meaningless, or go the wrong way in one-way parking lot areas. Now I know. And I've been having fun with the whole Pokemon thing whilst throwing chips for Walmart.

Wished was a way to successfully fake the GPS coordinates so can get out where I cannot otherwise, like around water. Working two jobs means like zero days off for months at a time. /grr

This group found a way but man who's got gear like that laying around? :ahhh
