Fireman with Hartkopf ivory/damascus.

The Hartkopf knife comes with a CITES permit. This means that the ivory used in the knife was obtained legally. Personally, however, I believe that the use of ivory should be abandoned completely. Sometimes I feel ashamed ever having bought the knife.

That's what I thought when I first laid eyes on the Moki. The Moki and the Hartkopf (see above) are definitely my most beautiful knives, and the most expensive ones. Each would be worth 5 to 10 brand new SAKs and they have caused major holes in my SAK collection. No regrets, though.
