Here's one of mine for starters, no sign of a maker mark or what the 348 stamping signifies

Here's one sold by Clas Ohlsen under the "Asaklitt" brand.

It's basically an exact copy of a Victorinox Ranger.
It's not only an exact copy it's also a very good copy, it's that good that Victorinox scales fit exactly onto the brass bushings.
The tools are excellent quality & have a perfect snap to them.(Very strong springs).
The only difference is that the Asaklitt knife has no markings anywhere on the blade.

Not sure if sak-alike or hobo-style, but really really nice: Richartz Struktura Picknick 5

Aitor,  Spain.
I would place the quality not much behind Vic and Wenger

The highest quality SAKAlike I've handled and owned is this EGO Tools A01, I believe it's their biggest models

Hard to complain about any of its (minor) defects fpr $25. Admittedly close to the Swisschamp's funcionality, just heavier and bulkier

My toys:

MTs: Surge (2x), Skeletool CX, Rebar, Blast, Fuse, Micra, Squirt (3x), Wave, Crunch, Mini, Spirit (2x), Pro Scout, MP700 (2x), Diesel, Powerlock, PowerPlier (2x), PocketPowerPlier, Blacktip , ST6 (2x), 5WR, A100

SAKs: Bantam, Executive, Ambassador, Minichamp, Classic Alox, Champion, Farmer, Explorer, Swisschamp, Golf Tool, Wenger Champ, EVO 52, Pocket Tool Chest

Really odd that it has two bottle openers, one on the fork, one on the openers layer.

Camper pattern by Adler Messer, Germany. Somewhat cheaper than Vic. Quality is quite good.

I really want one of the Boker techtools.  The blade looks really nice.

Peacant: I've had my eye on one of the Ego SAK clones.  Can't find them anywhere, they only seem to be sold in Russia.  :(

This is my daughters first knife - she found it in a junk shop when she was 8 and yellow is her favourite colour. Build quality is pretty good - it's nice and robust, scales are solid. Blade is stainless and the rest of the tools are carbon steel.

The Eka looks like a modder's dream that simply screws together.

That Mercury makes me want to fit a fork onto a custom build. You can always "spear" food with a blade or golf tool, but sometimes an actual fork and spoon are handy. Even in urban settings I find myself without a spoon sometimes. But I always have a SAK.

I don't know about the straight up EKA knife but the Wenger/EKA Wood Edition don't actually screw apart.

Thanks for the info. Never tried to unscrew an EKA/Wenger, but good to know.

My Aitors. All 108s. Vic never put tools like these in a 108. They don't make hobo knives at all.

Yeah, I've wondered why Vic had no hobo saks. Nice collection!

"Bulldog Brand, Hammer forged, Solingen Germany"

Like an Executive with a combo tool instead of an orange peeler
and those scales

The long "blade" on the back is the nail file (file surface on the back).
Bottom is flat / phillips screwdriver.

I just grabbed a SpanishArmyKnife in my Holidays last week. $5, sturdy, well built and pretty sexy.

It's from the well known Spanish brand Aitor, from years before the company was sold to Chinese owners who began to produce crap.

May I ask you your opinion on that Mercury?
I am considering buying one since they're made here in Italy. The model I'm looking at has that fork tool too, which I find a bit weird...

It appears to be well made, but I've never used it for anything.  They may be common in Italy, but I bought that in France; only one I've ever seen.

Thanks. They have several lines and models of "hunting" knives. The one I'm considering is a nice stag handled one. Not dirty cheap but not too expensive either. The only thing that keeps me from pulling the trigger is that odd fork. I'll post a pic if I do!
