EVO GRIP 16 question
on: July 22, 2016, 03:03:18 PM
I'am thinking about getting a EVO GPIP 16. How does It carry in the pocket compared to a farmer or a 111 soldier. Those are widest that I have, and there is no local place to look at one. Want to make sure it's not like a brick before I order one. And I tote in back pocket most of the time.
Thanks

I love my Evo16, it's one of my favorite SAKs. It carries just fine, not a brick by any means. :tu:

As an 85mm 3 layer SAK, It carries great!

Same thickness as a Rucksack (like a 111 Soldier) if that helps.

You'll love it. My 16 is one of those "grab and go" SAKs. Half the time it ends up in my pocket without even thinking about it. In fact, it's there right now. :)

Great knife if you like the 84/85mm format...which I really love for daily carry when I'm not wearing Levis.  Being able to have an 85mm SAK with scissors is really nice!   :tu:

Here are some comparison pics of my Wenger Evolution 16 (scales changed from EVO to flat scales) compared to my Compact mod.

Is it possible modding with old scales with no work???

Same position of pins???  ???

The older Wenger models, yes.  The newer Vic Delemont collection, I don't think so.

I can confirm, the Delemont ones use outer liners in the same shape as the Evo scales.
