Liking my leather sheath for my SAK
on: July 25, 2016, 07:05:39 PM
I picked up this leather sheath for my Explorer or Deluxe Tinker for $1.  I saw the Vic logo but no other markings and figured is was a homemade deal.  It's decently made regardless and my SAK fit perfectly tho theres a decent amount of space once the flap is closed.  My Explorer is very snug so I don't think it will come out especially once snapped closed.

As you can see my Helmsman also fits, it actually is a perfect fit.  I don't carry my Helmsman much but its nice to know it could fit.  Not much thicker of a SAK than Explorer or Helmsman fitting in this sheath.

Anyway though I'd share.

Yeah not too bad for $1.  I am liking carrying my SAK in a belt sheath.  If I need to restitch I'll give the MadP a holler to help me out.

I REALLY love how that sheath rides low off the belt!

Agreed the low ride on my belt is very nice.  The only really complaint would be the loop is a bit large.  My belt is just over 2 inches wide and the loop on the sheath could accommodate quite a large belt.  I won't complain tho since I got it for $1 and it fits my Champion perfectly.

Good one. And looks like quality leather as well. Low in the belt is best.

That sheath has "character" and the price was most definitely right :)
