Suggestions for carrying SAK, Torch & Pen
on: July 27, 2016, 10:35:40 AM
Here's the goods:

So, I've had the little torch/flashlight and the Fisher Space pen for years mostly in my Maxpedition Fatboy but more recently the torch has been in my work bag 'cos my S1 died - the SAK arrived yesterday.

Now I have replaced the S1 (with an Olight i3e eos) and balance has been restored to the universe,  I'm thinking about a way to attach the items in the picture together so I can simply grab them as one item and transfer to my jeans front pocket or to my murse of the day and back to desk/bedside table afterwards.

Whatever I do, I'd want to be able to totally detach any/all of the three items for use quickly and easily. If its a faff, it'll fail....

I'm not bothered too much about protecting the items, scuffs and scrapes will be perfectly acceptable, but joining them together in a small package with easy access is what I'm looking for. I was thinking that a small pouch or sheath might be a good way to go but couldn't find anything really suitable online so far.

Any suggestions folks?

Thanks

The P2 looks to be along the right lines - thanks hiraethus.

Definitely a contender, but open to more suggestions if anyone has any :)

I did actually look at a couple of sheaths on etsy (they were beautiful, but for belt carry and too big) and I never considered to include "EDC" in my search criteria

Your search has much better results - I'll check them out - thanks  :tu:

I've had in idea. How about the Kaweco sport 2 or 3 pen carry case. Good quality leather?

This is the 2 pen version

Both good suggestions guys thanks...

I spotted this on etsy - just wondering if I'd get a Pioneer X in there - it looks a bit tight like

That looks pretty cool, and they have them on Amazon UK too. Only problem is they want £70  & £8.99 delivery (that 's about $104 for a $10 wallet)  :ahhh

EDIT: but because I have Amazon Prime in the UK - I can get it delivered from the US site for £11.83 and I can even pay in GBP  :multi:

So I ordered one :)

Thanks everyone - I'll let you know how it works out   :tu:

If it doesn't fit the pioneer X I bet Gohard could make you one that would.

I've actually got the Compact in it, but the Pioneer fits too:

I've been using it for a few weeks now and it's pretty tough - sail material (might be mylar) is these days.

If it fails it'll be the stitching, but so far it seem great - thanks for your pointer
