I have seen them but never used them.  They don't look too bad, but not really anything that appeals to me.

i was kinda  :o as i saw it,a sit appears to be like the ones i have here,branded as Fiskars but even the  smallest one costs 38 euros usually....so is that packaxe somethin mad ein fareast but just has the looks of the ones im similar with?


the idea of addin a knife in handle aint bad if its made well,i think.

It's just a rebadged fiskars, but more expensive. Personally I'd get a fiskars for cheap, and a good knife seperately instead of gerber's crappy mystery steel.

From what I have been able to gather the Gerber "Gator" axes with the knife or saw in the handles are made in Asia. The standard line of axes are made in Finland by Fiskars.

The only reason I see for purchasing the Gerber branded FIskars axe would be to get the nylon sheath with it...if you are not capable of making your own. The Fiskars come with a plastic blade cover.

well you said what i was thinkin,that are those made in asia.as i remember gator-series are cheaper and more poor versions :think:.

say what,the nylon sheath only come swith those,there?
here,in every mall,fiskars axes come with that belt sheath,atleast the smaller ones do.
i found my sheath  when i was at army,it was just lying in woods.
