appears to be like the ones i have here,branded as Fiskars
From what I have been able to gather the Gerber "Gator" axes with the knife or saw in the handles are made in Asia. The standard line of axes are made in Finland by Fiskars.The only reason I see for purchasing the Gerber branded FIskars axe would be to get the nylon sheath with it...if you are not capable of making your own. The Fiskars come with a plastic blade cover.
