A few friends of mine are borrowing my big tent to go away for 10 days, Dolly and I will be going to laugh at instruct them putting it up tonight for a practice. This should be fun to watch

edit: it's a very windy day here

Due to unforeseen circumstances I haven't been the host I wanted to be, so I'll be sending Dolly on her travels this weekend.

She arrived with a few MT.o branded items with her so they will be travelling with her. I won an MT.o branded torch in a gaw so it's only fair others benefit from them.  I'm keeping the blade though, Dolly is dangerous enough without carrying a Vic Traveller. Plus it's really nice and I didn't have one.

Thank you for your generosity magentus  :salute:.

PM incoming to the next host on the lit,  which is Eamo in Ireland

Happy travels Dolly  :tu:

It has been my pleasure

Dolly is coming to the park for a stroll today then she'll be getting packed up ready to travel, along with her new friend, the lego men cleaning crew foreman.

Did she win his friendship before or after she blew away his crewmate?

Afterwards, I'm not sure if it's gratitude for doing it or fear of it happening to him.

Dolly had her final afternoon in Ssmurfhorpe in the park...

She had a lovely time in the sun enjoying the flowers

After a stroll around the park Millie was all worn out and needed a rest. Knowing she's unwell Dolly made sure she was ok

After a fun afternoon in the park, it was time to come home and start packing to go visit Eamo in Ireland.

Mags, any last words of advice ?
Keep her away from knives, guns, artillery, gardening implements, vehicles, flammable fuel, lighters, matches, toothpicks, kitchen implements, blunt instruments, medication, alcohol and drugs - don't let her watch any violent tv shows or films, or stay up past 8.30pm, don't leave her unsupervised at any time and don't give her any money. Never turn your back on her and don't believe a word she says.

Best of luck.

Um . . . . are my children safe while I am at work ? More importantly, are my dogs safe ?

I was going to take her sea kayaking which involves, well, kayaks, the sea, knives and vehicles - a) is this a good idea ? b) is she insured in case she gets swept overboard ?

Regarding the other pieces of equipment, I do not possess firearms of any kind, I do have a small selection of disparate tools  which would include knives, MT's, axes, gardening tools, various flamable liquids and solids; alcohol is not something i keep much of in the house, but, out of curiosity, whats her favourite tipple ?

Regarding the rest, tbh, i don't have much money to give her, i think the dog crate would be the safest place for everyone when we need our non dolly time, and i doubt she'd lie to me surely ?

Well, seeing that list, I'm glad she's not here yet. I'm going to visit the battleship New Jersey on Tuesday. If she came with me she'd probably try to shell Philadelphia across the river......

She's mellowed since she got her bling and had a Minion "therapy" session, plus I've taken her blade away.

Bon Voyage Dolly.

Kevin, Dolly's new companion looks a lot like a security guard. Care to elaborate?  :pok:

Eamo - Dolly's favourite tipple is kerosene, but that's also her favourite combustible liquid, so I suggest sticking to orange squash or similar for the duration. Your children and more importantly dogs should be safe provided you follow my recommendations. A 'Safe Crate' is a wise precaution, though I urge you to remember the bit in Jaws when they're in the shark cage believing this will protect them from Jaws.

Also, don't try and set up any kind of 'safety word' system with Dolly.

For safety reasons we used to remove her legs and arms before bed, and store them in the freezer until morning. Then at least you'll have some assurance she will be where you left her the night before.

Bon Chance Eamo! Courage Mon Brave!

Just asking the question...

Wasn't Dolly mentioned by name in the Good Friday Agreement?

Well now she has her bling it needs some security. Plus protection for everyone else just in case. He has his emergency radio in case of emergencies. Security Stan will keep her on the straight and narrow  :tu:

The cleaning crew member who she blew away wore a red jersey and black trousers, like the security fodder guards in Star Trek
