I did it... sorta
on: January 31, 2007, 07:22:40 PM
Today was the day I decided to finally grab the Core.  I took part of the day off work because I was kind of sick and decided to stop on the way home and get myself a little pick me up.  When I got to the store, instead of getting the Core, I fixated on the Fuse, which was not only somewhat cheaper, but also on sale.  My inner Scot couldn't argue with a sale and so the Fuse is now happy and at home with me.

I already have a Kick, and there is a Blast en route to my place, so that means I now have all of this series.

I can rest easy for another day...

My preferences are Grant's and Bell's, but I find it very hard to turn any of them down!

Ok well maybe not all the variants!

Of course I have to say that after seeing the scissor design on the Fuse close up, I may just cancel the Blast too.  What were they drinking when they came up with non folding scissors that need to be stored open?

I'm glad it didn't make it to other models.

The Fuse has the same scissors as the Charge.

I wish those scissors were a little bigger, but that's the only issue I have with them.

I don't have a Charge so I don't know.  Seems like they went backwards in design.  The scissors on the PST II and SuperTools was MUCH better.

If you meant the PST II and the Old Wave, I certainly agree with you. Those scissors were bigger, yet folded up into a more compact space. Wonder why Leatherman changed the design?

Yes, that's what I meant... I have a ST and ST200 sitting right in front of me and I must have gotten confused...

I think it's time for Def's medication...

I may be leaving my job soon, so I really can't afford to leave early too often, especially not when I spend that much!
