How do you sharpen a blade using a file that is attached to the same tool?

I think I'd go GAK.
OH for sure. Aren't all GAK's OH, and it's the DAK that has a nail nick and no saw?
Oh crap did I miss the first episode??
I would definately take a plain old swisstool. If I could not take that I would take the Vic Forester because I could just have it hanging around my neck on a length of cord. I see that the plain edge blade would be the tool that you would use the most (food prep, whittling, general cutting chores). Interestingly I would think that the other two tools that would be a great help would be an awl and a corkscrew for working with knots. On another note, I think that survivor would be very interesting if they altered the format a little. Here are my suggestions.1.) No Vote Off. you are off the island when you say "I quit."2.) You pack a standard rucksack with wahtever you think you need.3.) they send you through jump school.4.) they dont tell you your venue until you are already on the plane.(if you packed your rucksack with summer clothing and bathing suits and they drop you in the artic, guess what, you are either going to be really cold for a long time or you will quit and go home. )5.) No food, you eat what you can gather, win in a challenge, or cut from a fellow competitor.
Would also go for the SURGE, but the question is will you leave your multitool when you are eliminated early?

I would be a starter for 1.
That's it, who knows someone in the tele business, we need to do our own. Real Survivor! Neil
