Cool! Nice daughters you have and they don't seem to be afraid of power tools and blades. Very nice! You are  raising them up right proper.

Cheers mate, my youngest in the picture loves my stuff , she likes whittling and making stuff, due to funds we only go camping on holidays and only usually only twice a year, they both love it , and my youngest even told me a few weeks back that although she would like to go on a aeroplane to another country, she would still prefer our camping trips as we have fun ,tbh it's the only type of holiday they know  :tu: they have skills that not many 10-11yr olds have  :tu:

that's a very nice way to teach and learn, and creaing good memories for when hey grow up and make their own way.
Nice to see you're getting them into the hobby while you can   :tu:

Thanks mate,we try out best to equip them for life, plus not having much funds means they don't have all the latet gadgets so there not bothered about all those things  :tu:

  How could I forget.....

I handled a Garberg for the first time last weekend

Solid knife, I like it, I love the steel and I can get the knife at a good price..........but it's heavy!

It's so heavy I'm really torn, the Bushcraft Black stays a winner partially due to the lightness, it's proven tough enough.

Did I mentioned I love 14C28?

He wanted me to do a handle for his garberg but I knew it wasn't possible due to its tang design,  so thought I would just send one of my own personal knives  :tu:

well surfs exist so we could cheris the non smurfs

now to Mora. used the Mystery today for some dead animal prep work and despite the almost 5" blade it wasn't difficult to skin, remove silver skin, cut out tendons and do the necessary butchering and smaller processing to get a stew going. feels great in hand (better than the Companion oddly enough), precise and manoeuvrable without it being taxing

Cheers Zed - Since swapping my only other fixed blade with Zoidberg This is once again my go to. Ive just put a lanyard hole in the handle and have added the fire steel to the sheath. I'll post some pics once it's completely finished.

My one concern with the Clipper though (as with most Mora's) is the short(ish) tang. I'm sure it doesn't affect normal use at all, but I know I felt a lot more confident using my Izula II as it was thicker with a full tang.

Some are longer than others, the clippers is pretty short, the problem people have with Moras is they buy them and then Batton with them and wonder why they break  :-[ a Mora will last a long time if treated like a knife  :salute:
