Sexy pic Zoidy!  :salute:

 :iagree:

And I'd like some comparison between the Mora and the Jääkäripuukko, when it arrives, that is  :pok:

Yeah that could happen maybe.

Go on, you know you want to.   :pok:

What kind of tasks do peeps want to see?

I use my Jääkäripuukko to cut kindling, it's great for battoning (I'd go as far as saying it's the best knife I've used for that... so far), I wouldn't mind seeing how the Mora does... providing you be happy whacking your knife with a dirty big bit of wood that is?

to put it simply - we want it all

what Aleph said. no need to go full on Rambo, just the usual tasks and how it compares to things you can compare it to. I'd personally like to hear how much the grip slips, if at all when you have wet hands (sweat, rain, snow, blood)

Does Zoidy HAVE to spill some of the red stuff just for a test?  Seems a little extreme to me. :P

there is an old saying - you can't make blood sausages without spilling a little blood

I wouldn't do it just for the test but I do have jobs where that is required and if that happens during the testing period...

Slicing and dicing, food prep. And as someone else noted, general campfire duties.

Posting here in case you don't check the deals and auctions forum.

Blackbeard posted that Moras are on sale on Amazon today. Looks like some decent prices. The 120 and Eldris stood out to me, as I know what they're normal prices are.

Odd ball question:

Does anyone have the 120 carving knife and can compare it's handle size to any of the "classic" moras?

I love the handle size of the 120, its the most comfortable knife of any brand or type I've ever used. I'm tempted to get a larger blade classic style, but don't know if their handles are the same size and shape

Ideally I'd like the 120 handle paired with a 3-3.5" blade :tu:

I'm happy to report a floating Mora with blunt tip and serrated edge arrived today, first impression I really like it, no surprise there and it was bought with a single purpose in mind, to be attached to my PFD

Gareth, I paid just under 33 Canadian from Amazon, so not much more than a Companion.
