if the MTO crowd got to design a Mora, how would it look? (performance is always great on Mora knives so moot point)

I'd definitely start with a duel density grip.

I was thinking exactly the same thing, also a full tang like Garberg would be nice (No, I'm not biased at all...  ) :pok:

OK, I could go with that, but I think it'd have to be a thinner blade than the Gerberg.  Dare I suggest a slight drop point?  Not a big one, just something mild like this:

I think for a Mora it just has to be a Scandi grind.  I'm also thinking about blade length and width.  I might be biased because of how much I like the Eldris, but I'm leaning towards a shorter than normal blade.  Not Eldris short, but 1-2cm shorter than they normally make.  Thoughts?

Yeah, I was thinking so too, but had to ask since Garberg doesn't have true Scandi grind, i has a secondary bevel

Anyways a lil shorter blade would be more controllable (if that's a word :P )

I'd go with "shape" over guard.  Though if we're thinking about some sort of rubber inserts then perhaps we could also be thinking about a more traditional barrel look?

I'll go with Gareth in this one  :tu:

Now how about the sheath? Traditional Mora plastic one, Multi-mount like Garberg/Kansbol or Leather? Maybe all of them?

I also agree. No guard. The sheath, I am thinking all options. And if I want, I can always make a nice sheath for it.

I would like a couple (at least) models please.
First would be a three inch version of the 511 with guard and robust style sheath.
Second would be a five inch version of the robust without guard with 511 style handle and robust style sheath.
Old handles are easier to clean and lend to more grips.
New sheaths have better retention and are easier on and off the belt.

My older models have no gap between the blade and handle, my robust does have a gap on each side.
Does anyone else with the newer style handles have this gap?
