Thank you!

Would anyone be interested in a passaround of the Mora Triflex?
I would play with it for a few  weeks after it arrives. Then send it along to the next one who play with it for a few weeks, takes some pics and post it on the forum, and then send it to the next one and so on, until it ends up back here.

I'll defantly be up for testing it Gathr  :salute:

The passaround is on then :tu:

I bought mine from etsy.com

I wish I had the tools and ability to make a sheath. Mine is made here in the US and cost me $27 and change. Well worth it to me!

Oh yeah, its buffalo skin...

very nice. :tu:  is it bad at throwing sparks from a ferro rod?

It has a fairly rounded off spine, so Id say yes it is.
Havent tried yet though   :)

I have now tried it.

Closest to the handle it is completely useless at throwing sparks. No sparks at all.
Closer to the tip the spine is sharper, and it will produce a weak spark. Perhaps some filing of the spine there might make it better.

I filed it a little on the sides of the spine and on the top, to get through the low carbon layer, and now it throws much better sparks.
Not as good as the bushcraft black thoug.

Nice pics everyone  :salute:
Grathr I had to file the rounded spine on my 2000 and it also throws a good spark, but not as good as my #1 classic or 510 but still good in a emergency  :tu:
