I've learned something lately: open your eyes, and you will see,
Before I started collecting SAKs I never find any at flea markets  but now I see plenty  (which is not good for the wallet)

I wanna see a tool shot of Aloxsplorer!  Also if that's a roll of toilet paper on there, that's awesome!

Yes it is TP. They are advertising scales from Cascades who make "tissue products".
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cascades_(company).

The original knife was a Pioneer Settler which is where the "rare" 93mm small clip point blade came from. It was always going to be a user so most of the tools are from used knives. Other Donors were a 91mm Explorer, a 93mm Pioneer and a 93mm Solo. Only the Solo was a new knife but there is still quite a few dollars invested in this build.

Eagle eyed viewers will notice that the scissors are on different ends in these two photos... Well, I can't stop fiddling with some of my mods. It is about to undergo another strip and rebuild as test mule for my "cheapo" brass pivots as soon as the screws arrive (they are literally on a slow boat from China).

Ok, I just fell in love... :dd:

This is a handful from my dresser that I pretty much rotate thru. Although lately I've found myself carrying the Suva three bladed one quite a bit. About all these have been thru the modders to add eblades. Can't help it, I love electricians. The alox knives, not the repair guy. I just like him.

My new/like new, and other keepers are safely ensconced in a climate controlled, offshore, secure facility. And I'm way too lazy to fetch them for pics.

The blue cross pioneer/soldier one is kind of an odd piece I just got off the auction site. Another collector in Canada has one just like it. He mentioned they aren't very common. So I guess I'll just clean it up and store it.

And I know I'm cheating with the ALM Ti one, but it is in the shape of the old cross. ;)

The Ti Electrician is a 2014 ALM Knives model he made for me. If you search, you can find his info. I believe, Syph007 can produce these now as well, but you'd need to contact him to confirm. Both gentleman do nice work. I haven't pocket carried it a whole lot but it sees duty as my next to my chair knife. :)
