Modify a small eyeglass screwdriver into a SIM card eject tool?

I was wondering if anyone has modified the small eyeglass screwdriver into a SIM card eject tool for the cellphone.
If I get a dremel tool for Christmas I may give it a whirl with a few spares I purchased.

But if someone has already done this, I'd be interested to know how it went.

Interesting idea... haven't done this myself... what I do is have a paperclip handy in my edc pouch...

I've also seen some pictures where the mini screwdriver is replaced with a paperclip on the screw...

Without the dremel, it would be possible to just saw of the tip and remove any bur with sandpaper...

If you have "plus" scales you can put a straight pin in there.

My Camper doesn't have the plus scales.  :(

@jaya_man, the existing small screwdriver has a diameter that is too wide.  I'll need the dremel to skinny it up.

Ahh your right, just measured it again... the mini screwdriver is fattier than the paperclip...

I did also made a hole in one of my older scales with a xacto blade in order to slot in a sttaight pin

JMan is right - it's an easy job to pop a hole in the scale to accept a straight pin - you can probably do it by heating the pin and melting it through.

I *might* try that, but I'm not ready to modify my new old stock Camper just yet.....even though I did buy a spare to keep as a shelf queen.  :ahhh

I have some old scales with the pin hole going spare - they are used but I could send one with the paracord if you wanted to try one out - the straight pin is very handy when you need one.

Since I bought a spare Camper to keep pristine, I'm carrying my EDC Camper without slipcase...just bare scales jangling around with keys, coins, cellphone...it's liberating!  :tu:
