Anyone ever put a SAK saw in a Charge? I far prefer the Victorinox saw to the LM one which is draw cut only. Just been musing about the next mod for my Charge. :)

I'd also love a solution for the handles, I chew up my fingers constantly from the knurled screws when using the tool hard. Any ideas?

Saw should fit if the hole is enlarged to the side some, not too far though because you'll want to have the liner lock function.
Will probably have the same halfway stop thing like the scissors.
Swap out the knurled screws for torx ones off a Ti/TTi.

I didn't realise the TTi had different screws. That's a great idea! I have to contact Loki to see if he has any. Thanks!

I think you may have to check with Loki, if the torx for the tti are long enough for the ALs. The torx on the tti are sitting recessed in the TI scales. While the knurled ones are sitting on top of the AL scales..

Loki checked again for me and you're right, they don't fit. He refunded me, guy is a gentleman.

Hmmm, I have an order of this stuff on the way: https://www.guntape.com/products/gt-5000-grip-tape-starter-kit-3-strips it might be worth trying to slice it to match my grips and then sticking it on top. More grip and would cover the screws. If I can get it to stick properly around the screws, there isn't much room around them for it to stick. Another question is whether they'll be tough enough to deal with multitool (not gentle) type uses.

Hmm.. Are the screws really bothering you that much? Mine is pretty comfy. I dun mind them at all.. Did u use the Loki wrench to remove them or just by pliers. Remove them again and use sand paper to round them off?

They do when I'm using the tool hard, I've ended up with blisters from them. I use the Loki wrenches. If I round them off I won't be able to open them again right?

Grow some more skin on your hands? : shrug:

Hehe. Just poking around.
I have no clue on a sollution to be honest.
Maybe some pivot barrels from the bay with sinked torx screws?

Cut a slot into them for a flat head, then round the sides.

I mean sand it a little just to smooth out the edges. That's strange cos I dun feel mine when using it. Unless I intentionally feel for them of course. Well.. Like Mechanickal said...  :pok:
