Very strange impulse.......

There's a little shop close to our office that very much caters to tourists looking for funny hats and khaki safari clothes, they also stock #13 shoes and I actually buy most of my clothes there anyway......

It's an eclectic little shop and I think they might have the biggest Victorinox selection in town, only place I've seen the multitools anyway....

The other day I spotted a few of those 80's survival knives in the window and had a bit of a chuckle.

Last night after my 3rd beer I suddenly wanted one......

I'm financially ruined, but I'm going to check the price..... :facepalm:

Hmmmmm....my lack of disposable income just saved me  :facepalm:

The price is N$599........I would be willing to pay half that with a smile.

Sheath quality is even worse that mine back in the day, handle is plastic and the whole knife weighs almost nothing.

Yes, it is hard to believe that they could have gotten worse than they were in the 80's huh?   :ahhh

Do you guys get the DOW brand knives in your part of the world?

I'm sure this is not the original........and I'm a bit disappointed in the price.

I definitely didn't want to use it, just for smurfs&giggles
