Clearance Jackpot @ Target
on:
February 01, 2007, 08:08:17 PM
Stopped in at my local Target again to check out the clearance items in hopes of a new tool. Well, today I managed to pick up a few:
1-Leatherman Fuse/Stanley Mug Adventure Set-$12.48
1-Leatherman Squirt P4 $7.48 (too bad it's pink...my wife might carry it)
2-Leatherman c301 Folders $7.25 each
1-Victorinox Camper with L.E.D. Cross & Sheild Microlight $6.24
1-Leatherman Core $23.20
I hope to make it to a couple more tonight to see if there are any Gerbers left. All that were left at this one was a Gerber Flashlight pack.

Nice score!
I snagged the Stanley mug/Fuse this year. Target had a similar clearance a year ago and I was able to get Leatherman Juice CS4s, Victorinox One Hand Trekkers, a Squirt, and other EDC items for 75% off.

I had lunch at the mall today as an excuse to stop by Target. I left with a cartload of Leathermans. Most of the prices were the same as the original post but the Core was on sale for $14.98. I applied for a Target card and they took off an additional 10%.

Maybe if I bring the core I got with a printout of this thread I'll get it for that price also

This only happened because I bought the Fuse yesterday. I went to buy the Core, and I would have paid full price for it. Obviously the Fates knew I was going to get a Core and set this up, but the joke is on them since I didn't get one!
Of course now I think there's some lightning headed my way...

Nice haul.
When I checked last weekend in Goldsboro all the clearance stuff was gone. No surprise. Goldsboro is home to Seymour Johnson Air Force Base. I doubt much gets past those guys.
