New camp chair
on: August 17, 2016, 10:58:44 PM
My mum's treated me to a new camp chair. It's an early birthday prezzy but won't arrive until after.

I've had one of these since they first came out years ago and its looking a bit worse for wear now.  It'll be nice to have a new one for my holidays coming up.

It's held my fat arse up off the floor for 6 or 7 years so it's very well built  :D

That is a great looking chair!

I have a couple of Coleman ones with a buit in cooler bag on one of the arms and an insulated drink holder in the other.  I really like them but I made the idiotic move of leaving them in Halifax when I came to Ottawa and I miss having them.

To tide me over I've picked up a couple of no name cheapos that are nowhere near as nice but have done the job I wanted them for a few times now.  And, they were cheap enough ($10 Canadian) that I won't be too upset if they don't last much longer.  Heck, for that price I could buy new ones for every outing and still not be worried!

Well I'll be damned, just what I've been looking for  :tu:

All the camp chairs available over here are meant for skinny under 120kg people, so I've been out of luck finding one that
wouldn't crumble if I sat on it

:serverloft: Smurfing off to evilbay to check prices...

I got mine through evilbay as the company who makes them won't ship international, and evilbay has an international delivery service. It cost an extra £24.02 on top of the price to get it send here as a result.
